Alexis Noon

Alumnus Class of 2018

My name is Alexis Noon. I graduated DCTS in 2018 from the Health Careers program. I first joined the theatre program when I was a Sophomore and I participated in six shows; Comic Book Artist, Little Shop of Horrors (DCTS Theatre’s first musical), Rumors, The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and my final show was The Addams Family. The theatre program let me develop an array of different skills. While I was the Student Director for my Junior and Senior years, I had to learn how to be a leader and a positive role model, as well as taking on more responsibility to help out Mr. Wonders and the creative staff. I’m currently living with my fiancé and have an amazing job as a pharmacy technician. I’m looking to go back to school to become a Pharmacist or an Anesthesiologist. When I first joined the theatre program I was very introverted, then I joined this program and as the years went by, I started to develop a sense of poise within myself. Being a part of a program such as this one gave me the confidence that I was lacking. This program was one of the foundations for the person I am today. The teachers that I got to work with in this program; Mr. Wonders, Mr. Pines, and Mr. Williams, were always pushing us to be the very best versions of ourselves. Theatre will always have a special place in my heart because it was my home away from home. I miss being a part of the program everyday. I want to thank everyone that was part of the program!  You truly made my high school life unforgettable.

Chloe Mutzabaugh

Alumnus Class of 2021

Hi, My name's Chloe Mutzabaugh. I graduated in 2021 from the Web Development and Design program. The shows I was in with the theatre program were Wizard of Oz, 12 Angry Jurors, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Some skills that I gained from the theatre program were character building and projection when it comes to dialogue and singing.

I am currently attending Kutztown University for an undergraduate degree in Applied Digital Arts.

The theatre program meant alot to me. I met so many amazing people through it and I built some really good friendships through it. The program helped bring me out of my shell a lot more and helped me learn how to develop characters more.

Theresa Kinkley

Alumnus Class of 2020

Hello! I'm Theresa Kinkley. I am a DCTS 2020 graduate. I was in the theatre program for all four years of high school. I currently am enrolled at Washington and Jefferson college with an English major, as well as a theatre and an education minor. I plan to be a high school English Teacher and also direct theatre for community theaters or at the school I work at in the future. DCTS Theatre Program helped me to realize my love for being on stage, and helped me to make many long lasting friendships that still are with me to this day. Theatre has helped me to come out of my shell and make more friends than I could imagine. It has also bonded my sibling and I together a lot. I still do theatre at my college. Most recently, we performed the show Everybody, and I played the character of Beauty. Our next show is Rocky Horror, and I will be trying out for Janet. I really miss DCTS's theatre program, and I cannot wait to see what they have in store in the future.
